Where has it been hanging out? I'm about to leave for the holidays, but if it's still here when I get back in two weeks I'd love to add it to my life list...!

Lydia: Just want you to know that I really appreciate your blog. I birded in Jekyll last March and I was the one who found the Iceland Gull. Keep up the good work. Wish I was there to see the hummingbird.

Pam Russell is hosting the bird. Call her at 635-2919. She is expecting birders.

Hi I turned in your Iceland Gull to the review committee. Would you mind sending me a write up on the gull for them? That was a great find. Thanks for sharing.

Lydia: I know there's been some thought that this might be the same bird that Doreen banded last winter in the same area. That bird, however, was captured today about noon in Greenwell Springs, Louisiana (outside Baton Rouge) by Nancy Newfield, so this is a different individual!
