Five pink birds
A few weeks back I posted about the wonderful Roseate Spoonbills at Overlook Park in Brunswick. Well one image just was screaming at me to work. Here is the drawing that I worked on in the evening.
As my husband and I were out on our morning walk from our home to the Horton House Historic Site we noticed a pink bird in the marsh area. Captivated by the variety of birds we watched as there seem to be a great meeting of the minds as all of the birds there were different. A cyclist stopped to admire the birds and we asked what was it and she told us it was a Roseate Spoonbill. Beautiful creatures. Hope to be able to see them again and share with my children.
Hope it's okay I linked your blogging of the Roseate Spoonbill to my post this evening: http://fishing.yellowbluffcompany.com/?p=190
I met you a few years ago, when you gave the coastal birds presentation on the beach to a Master Naturalist Class for David Moulder; and you were excellent.
